This screenshot demonstrates the “Instantiated Eliminator,” a continuous improvement tool I developed using VBA to streamline the analysis of complex gas system configurations received in Excel format. In Step 1, the original RAM data is shown. By Step 7, after running the IE, I could quickly review each configuration’s details and determine whether an issue email needed to be sent to the customer—or if the configuration was 100% accurate and ready to move forward.
- The tool consisted of fewer than 900 lines of VBA code and significantly boosted accuracy, efficiency, and overall quality.
